My Core Values

FEDERAL SPENDING- We spend more money on just the interest payments of our federal debt then we do on the entire defense budget. We are in debt to the tune of 37 trillion dollars. Our elected representatives just keep spending money we do not have, and our children and grand children are going to pay for these mistakes. Our federal government prints money on a whim with nothing to back it up. This is not a healthy fiscal policy, it is not sustainable. We must reign in spending, while cutting taxes for all Americans.

RELIGION AND POLITICS- John Adams, the first Vice President once wrote, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Our founding fathers spoke and wrote often of God. To believe they were not religiously spiritual men, is absurd.

SECOND AMENDMENT- “Shall not be Infringed” The only gun law that applies is the Second Amendment. All other gun laws are Unconstitutional “The Constitution shall never be construed…to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.” Samuel Adams.

ABORTION- In the Declaration of Independence it is stated: “Bestowed with unalienable Rights… Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” All of mankind is bestowed these Rights, even an unborn child. Life, is the most basic Human Right. Life begins at conception.

TAXATION- Americans are highly over taxed across all spectrums. If elected, I would fight tooth and nail to cut taxes and regulations across the board. If Americans were required to write a check to the government when they received their pay check, everyone would be against paying taxes. The average American works from January to June for free just to pay all the taxes imposed upon them.

GOVERNMENT OVERREACH- For far too long, the government has infringed upon Constitutional rights. It is past time to scale back all of the agencies who impose restrictions upon our freedoms. The rule making agencies who circumvent the legislative bodies in Congress need to be reined in, or abolished altogether. Congress passes laws, not the ATF, EPA or any other three letter agency.

EDUCATION- I believe that an educated and informed population is absolutely necessary for our way of government to function properly. I believe that education of our children should be controlled at the local and state level. We do not need bureaucrats in Washington D.C. to dictate to Americans, on how their children should be educated.

ADMINISTRATIVE BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT- American’s lives have been impacted by unelected bureaucrats through the rules that agencies have unlawfully made. Congress introduces bills, votes on bills and the President signs them. The EPA, ATF, DOJ and the likes do not write our laws, so they should not be allowed to make up rules as they see fit to govern the lives of peaceful Americans. We need to reduce and remove the Unelected, Unconstitutional Administrative branch. Not many people know about The Senior Executive Service (SES), but these are the folks who really run the government. They are the ones who control and implement their own policies. It is time to take back our government and it starts with reducing the number of unelected policy makers.

DISTORTED VIEWS- At just about every level of government there are people, elected or not, who have their own views on how to interpret Our Constitution. There is only one way to do this, ‘as the words are written.’ We have politicians, judges, unelected Bureaucrats in government who apply their own meaning of our founding documents. The Constitution, Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights are the documents that our Founding Fathers produced and implemented to establish the governance of our country. They believed, as do I, that Natural Rights come from our Creator, that all men are created equal under God. Some People believe that these documents are old and outdated. The Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence are as important and relevant today as they were when they were first penned over 240 years ago. They do not need to be thrown out; they need to be reread and followed!
