Benjamin Rush stated, "If we were to remove the Bible from public schools we would be wasting so much time punishing crimes and taking so little pains to prevent them".
We encounter trials and tribulations through this life. We spend so much time working to overcome adversities after we experience injury or illness. It was once stated that "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".
If we applied this mentality towards our relationship with God and Christ, through reading the Bible, we can prevent alot of the weariness we have in this life.
You take hours to workout to increase your physical strength. How about take some time out of your day to focus on spiritual strength as well. "Sound mind and sound body" go hand in hand.
